HUNGER

SATURDAY, MAY 14  |

19:00  |

HOUSE OF CULTURE OF THE CITY OF OSTRAVA  |

This movement theater with new circus elements based on the novel by the Norwegian writer Knut Hamsun will dominate all your senses. The precise technique of the performers, the impressive scenography and the author's video projections form a unique gesamtkunstwerk of the 21st century. Proof that even hunger and frustration can be the inspiration for the perfect work of art.

A story about a special life of senses, secrets and nerves in a starving, searching and conflicting body.

"That hunger consumes you from within, doesn't let you go, it binds you to yourself, it determines how you feel, you're confused, alert, anxious, paranoid. Madness. Things don't mean what they mean ..."
